Whale Center in Kawaihae ( 61-3657 Akoni Pule Hwy Kawaihae ,HI 96743)
From the airport go up to Highway 19, and make a left hand turn (heading north/north-east).
After an estimated 25-minute drive you will reach a traffic light at the entrance to the Waikoloa Beach resort area. Go straight through this light, and keep heading north.
Approximately 15-minutes after the traffic light, you will come to a stop, and Highway 270.
Take a left. (Follow the sign indicating Kawaihae.)
Follow Highway 270 for about 1.5 miles. Our Ocean Sports Whale Center will be on the right side of the road; at the corner of Highway 270, and Akoni Pule Highway. (Also right below the 76 gas station).
Parking is right across the building along the green fence.
